This ray gun features some gorgeous details including crackled marbles in the scope and the nose and the dry-lakebed texture of the barrel, which is twisted like a narwhal horn.
The Raku Ray Guns are sized for the human hand. This one measures about 17" long by 11" tall. Each Raku Ray Gun comes with a ceramic moon crater plaque wall mount. The gun rests on brass hooks embedded in the plaque which provide a sturdy support. The plaque has an attached wire on the back, for hanging on the wall.
The visual roots that inspire the Raku Ray Guns include sci-fi magazine covers from the 30’s,40’s and 50’s, the styling cues from 50’s automobiles, and design elements from Art Deco and Art Nouveau which contribute to the Steampunk flavor of the Raku Ray Guns.
When shipping we very carefully pack the ray guns with yards of bubble wrap and double box them.
